The Treatment Center

- Your First Appointment
- For many, this is the single most important dental appointment in a lifetime. Because it is so important we begin our association with a tour of our office. Meeting our staff helps to build confidence, and develop a shared commitment to our goal, and help you feel at home. Following your tour, we will review your medical and dental history and give you a better understanding and appreciation for your breath condition. With this knowledge you can better appreciate the types of procedures we will be performing.
- Treatment Procedures
- First we will perform a Intra-Oral examination of your mouth. This exam will be followed by several measurements with the Halimeter. Then we will review our findings, make treatment recommendations, and schedule a follow-up appointment 7-10 days later to monitor your progress.
- Special Preparations for Your Appointments
- To make your Halimeter readings ( initial and follow-up ) as accurate as possible, it is very important you follow these crucial instructions on the day of your appointment.
- DO NOT wear cologne, after shave, perfume or bath with scented soaps.
- DO NOT eat any ethnic or spicy foods (garlic, onions, spices, etc.) or consume alcohol for 24 hrs before your appointment.
- DO NOT brush, floss, use mouthwash, breath sprays, mints, eat anything or smoke for 5-6 hours before your appointment.
